They tried to make me go to rehab, I said...OH WAIT you're already there.

I watched the Grammy's tonight, like I do every year. And I must say, it totally sucked this year. Not only did the Foo Fighters blow it by attempting to play "music" but Amy Winehouse was the night's big winner, stealing the spotlight from more deserving artists. The Foo Fighters somehow went home with an undeserved Grammy, as well.
I want to know who was judging this year so that I can smack them in the face and ask them what they were thinking.

If you haven't seen Kanye's acceptance speech, you best look it up on youtube. I laughed at how arrogant he seemed, and then pitied him. I will admit I got teary during that song he sang about his mom.

At least Rihanna went home with an award. I love her.
And I must admit, some of the performances were pretty decent. I enjoyed a few of them, like Rihanna's, Alicia Key's, Beyonce's, Fergie's, the Gershwin piece "Rhapsody in Blue" (one of my fav. orchestral pieces of all time).

Evanescence was robbed, so very, very robbed. But hey, Amy Lee looked fuckin' amazing as usual, as you'll see in the picture I've provided.
I'm so happy people think I resemble that gorgeous human.

All and all, the Grammys were most disappointing this year. Evanescence was a shoe-in against their competition, but the idiots out there gave it to a very untalented band that rides out the little fame they can get on one song. AHHAHGIAEOHG

Better luck next time, eh? There really weren't that many good rock albums out this year, obv. except the Ev one. So hopefully next year some good stuff will be out.
